GAHANNA, Ohio – The Central Buckeye League Swimming Championships returned to the campus of Columbus Academy High School as teams from around the conference battled for supremacy this past weekend.
However, the swimming titles were successfully defended by Columbus Academy and Bexley respectively.
The Vikings claimed the boys title with a score of 272 points. Academy was trailed by Lions in second place with a score of 222. Grandview Heights finished in third with a score of 193, Buckeye Valley collected a fourth-place finish with a score of 177, Worthington Christian finished with 82 points and Bishop Ready had 14 points.
Bexley collected the girls title with an impressive 401 points to sit firmly in first place. Columbus Academy finished in second place with 286 points, followed by Grandview Heights (249), Columbus School for Girls (193), Buckeye Valley (67), and Bishop Ready (7).
