BEXLEY, Ohio – Bexley High School, an original member of the Central Buckeye League, has been named the top high school in the State of Ohio according to a new ranking. The ranking was published by U.S. News & World Report with annual rankings that score schools on their performance in state-required testing, graduation rates, and how well they prepare their students for college.
This mark is especially impressive as Bexley boasts just one high school in a district that serves over 2,500 students. The Lions also crack the top 200 schools nationally at No.121.
“Academic excellence is a long-standing tradition in our community, and the experience we offer goes far beyond test scores and graduation rates,” Bexley Superintendent Jason Fine told The Columbus Dispatch.
“We place a high value on the journey our students are on as individuals to discover their passions and develop the ability to learn with curiosity, demonstrate kindness, and embrace equity.”
