WOOSTER, Ohio — Central Buckeye League Boys Tennis Player of the Year and Bexley Freshman Henry Lessard captured the Division II Boys Singles State Championship on Friday, downing Chika Nwaozuzu of Pepper Pike Orange 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-3. The victory gives Bexley a clean sweep of the Division II Boys and Girls State Tennis Championships.
Sophomore Amiya Bowles captured the girls title on October, winning 6-1, 6-2 in her conquest of the bracket.
