BEXLEY, Ohio — The divers of the Central Buckeye League enjoyed a strong showing during the Ohio High School Association Division II District Dive Championships hosted by Columbus School for Girls. Of the 15 district competitors, seven hailed from CBL member schools.
Bexley’s Jackson Monus enjoyed an incredible showing scoring on the boys side, scoring a 225.45 in the prelims, 382.20 in the semi-finals, and 525.10 in the finals to finish first overall in the district, punching his ticket to Canton to contend for a state championship next week.
Just over a week after capturing the CBL league title, Columbus Academy’s Elle Vahedian captured the district title with scores of 192.55, 303.90, and wrapping with a 420.30 in the finals.
