MARYSVILLE, Ohio — The Columbus Academy Boys Golf Team enjoyed a strong showing at the Central Buckeye League Preview Tournament last Friday. The tournament field was paced by Academy senior Matthew Fang who shot an impressive 73.
Bexley’s Ben Hodge finished just behind Fang with a 75 for the event. Two Viking competitors completed the event tied for third place with a pair of 78s as Jack Woods and Alex Stein finished deadlocked.
Another tie rounded out the top five as Buckeye Valley’s Matthew Ralph and Worthington Christian’s Nick Pihl finished Friday’s event at Darby Creek tied for fifth with each shooting an 80.
