GAHANNA, Ohio – The Columbus Academy Girls Golf teamed fended off a stiff challenge from Columbus School for Girls to claim the 2024 Central Buckeye League Girls Golf Championship.
Competing teams in the CBL can take their two best scores from the three league competitions and submit them to be figured into their scoring for the season. The Vikings used the scores from their opening and closing tournaments at Mental Memorial and Blacklick Woods for a conference-best score of 647 strokes, beating CSG by 41 strokes as the Unicorns finished in second place. The Bexley Lions finished in third position with a score of 792.
Worthington Christian, Buckeye Valley, and Bishop Ready finished fourth, fifth, and sixth respectively.
Academy sophomore Eva Lim claims CBL Player of the Year honors, followed closely by her teammate senior Caroline Zeiger. Below are the 2024 Central Buckeye League All-League Award winners
