DELAWARE, Ohio – Members of the Central Buckeye League’s Cross Country contingent descended on the campus of Buckeye Valley High School where they battled for league championship bragging rights. The runners were tasked with traversing a damp and foggy course for the final league contest of the season.
The Bexley Lions claimed glory in the boys race claiming the top spot scoring 38 points. Finishing second was Grandview Heights amassing 55 points and rounding out the podium was Buckeye Valley with 92 points.
The Bobcats claimed top spot in the girls varsity race with 33 points. Columbus School For Girls finished in second place with 71 points and Worthington Christian collected an even 100 points.
Bexley swept the middle school races with both the boys and girls taking home the victory in their respective and the trophies back to East Columbus.
