COLUMBUS, Ohio — Central Buckeye League Champion Columbus Academy looked to punch its ticket into the regional final, standing in their way was a familiar foe in Bishop Watterson High School. The Vikes enjoyed a strong performance from senior and CBL Player of the Year Morgan Halpern as she led Academy with four goals.
Freshman Kyndal Singleton added a pair of scores late in the contest but it wasn’t enough as CA fell to Watterson 13-11 in a tight contest.
